Generally while opening Access database in MS Access 2000 or its earlier versions, you may receive error like “The database in an unexpected state”. Such type of issue occurs when data access object library tries to convert the database created in higher version of access 97 or its earlier version. When such situation appears, if you have the original database then you can use the renovate database command.
